EcoSense
One of the main questions we get is based around the cost of running air conditioning. There’s no getting away from the fact that your electricity consumption will increase noticeably if you leave your aircon on all day. In fact many people turn it on and forget about it, often cooling their home when they go out.
At Aircon Javea we can fit a small device known as EcoSense. If there is no movement in the room for more than 30 minutes, the EcoSense will shut down the air conditioning system thus saving significant money. EcoSense from Aircon Javea works efficiently and is superior to coin operated systems (which often fail to shut down thus eliminating any savings you may have made).
Stay Cool & Save Energy
Expert AC Tips
Set the aircon temperature to the desired temperature. If you feel that 22º is right for you, don't set the unit to 16º. This causes the unit to work harder with no gain. Your room will cool down at a uniform rate.
Use the drainage water wisely. Did you know that the water from the system is now distilled? You can use it on your plants and even in your iron! If it's hot outside, water can be scarce. Don't waste it, recycle it!
Clean your filters regularly. Your air conditioning unit needs to 'breathe' and if the filter is clogged up you'll ultimately shorten the life of the unit. Learn how to clean the filters and do it regularly, even if it's only once a year!
Re-gas your old unit. In the business of aircon sales, we often come across older units that the owner feels need replacing. A quick re-gas can breathe new life into old units, extending their use and saving money!
Maintain your system. You wouldn't run your car for 5 years without getting it serviced, the same applies to air conditioning systems. To keep your system in tip-top condition, Aircon Javea offers an annual check up an maintenance service. The last thing you want is to turn your aircon on and find it doesn't work - just when they're saying it's the hottest day of the year so far.
